Your onboarding platform sends an email to your candidates. These messages, including their content and branding, can be customised to align with your organisation’s tone and identity.
Customising email templates ensures consistent, professional communication with both candidates and internal users.
Access the Email Template in Onboarded
Email templates can be accessed via the General Settings section of your Onboarded dashboard.
📌 Note: You must have administrative access to edit these templates.
Log in to your Onboarded dashboard.
Click the cogwheel icon in the top-right corner.
Select General Settings.
Click the Email Templates button against the form.
Customise your Email Template
Log in to your Onboarded dashboard.
Click the cogwheel icon in the top-right corner.
In the left-hand menu, click General Settings.
From the dropdown, select the specific onboarding form you want to modify.
Click Email Templates to view the available template options.
Point to each template to see when it is triggered, such as:
Invite Email: Sent to the applicant to start their onboarding.
Reminder Email: Sent to remind the applicant to complete their onboarding.
Post-submission Email: Sent after submission, thanking the applicant.
Completion Notification: Sent to staff when the applicant submits their form.
Identify the type of template:
Active Email Templates: Currently in use.
Optional Email Templates: Available but not activated.
To activate an optional email template, click the plus (+) button.
Click on a template to edit it.
To attach a document (e.g., an induction manual):
Upload the file from your computer.
The file is automatically included in future emails of that type.
To preview your changes:
Enter your email address in the Test field.
Click Send Test to view the template as the recipient.
Click Save.
